Welcome! I’m Fabian, a PhD student at the University of Vienna studying labor and housing economics.
My research focuses on two main areas: the drivers of self-employment and their aggregate effects, and the role of older adults’ housing decisions in creating market misallocation. I employ a combination of survey data and quantitative heterogeneous agent models to address these questions.
My advisors are Monika Merz and Michael Reiter.
