Fabian Prettenthaler

Welcome! I’m Fabian, a PhD student at the University of Vienna studying labor and housing economics.

My primary research interest is macroeconomics with a focus on housing decisions and occupational choice. I study how fiscal policies and regulations influence individual behavior using survey-based microdata, and how these responses feed back into aggregate outcomes through quantitative life-cycle models.

My advisors are Monika Merz and Michael Reiter.
